What we stand for.
AiNIN believes that art in nature implies respecting nature, not using or abusing it for the sake of art. This means a specific creation for each individual site, whether it is in a rural, urban or social environment as an alternative to the traditional presentation of art objects in museums, galleries and public spaces.
What members get.
A platform of encounter for sharing opportunities and ideas for artists, organisers and people interested in art in nature. Opportunities and calls for proposals for international art in nature events in the spirit of AiNIN are circulated regularly by email to members only, who can also share with other members details of their achieved projects and opportunities.
Each member has their own page allowing them to upload up to 12 images in JPG format (Suggested resolution for best visibility : 800 x 600 pix at 72 DPI) of their best works (only site specific works), a short statement, their email address and personal website link. For Help consult Manage your Gallery.
The AiNIN website represents artists from across the world, working in a broad range of disciplines in the realm of site specific art in nature. This work can be viewed by other artists or organizing bodies who may be interested in finding or contacting `site specific artists’.
